What i think about uniforms is it isn't a bad idea because you dont have to wake up worrying about what you have to wear. Also all the money your parents would spend on school clothes you can get alot more shoes.
Your point about having more money for shoes is well taken. Does the uniform have any other benefits? What, if any, impact does it have on creating school community/culture? Do you feel you are part of "Team Metro"?
